OUR STORY.
THE BEGININGS.
Casa Libertas is rooted in a ranch-raised family past
that stretches from the Old World to the Americas.
Casa Libertas is a House shaped by past generations. Raised in a world of artisanal craftsmanship, we searched for pieces that reflected the heritage and authenticity of those that had been passed down to us. When we couldn’t find them, we decided to make them ourselves. Surrounded by hand-sculpted buckles and fine leatherwork from the mid-1800s, we experienced firsthand the value of craftsmanship. These pieces held meaning beyond their materials. They carried the stories, culture, and beauty of generations, still beautiful and purposeful today.
Inspired by these heirlooms, we set out to create a House that would bring back the originality, authenticity and quality that is so often lost in today’s fashion landscape. We established our own taller (atelier), a place where our distinct design aesthetic and artisan craftsmanship come together. Every creation is made-by-hand in limited quantities, using recycled materials and designed to ignite liberation, self-expression.
SADDLE ROOM & WORKSHOPS
CONTINUED
The House today is infused with this heritage of handcrafted pieces made in the saddle room and workshop.
Among these cherished possessions, each bearing the indelible imprint of the artisans that brought their craft of silversmithing and leather working from a bygone era of the Old World in the 1800s, to the vast lands of The Americas. Beyond exquisite pieces and masterful skills, we inherited the culture and pioneering spirit of discovery from which they lived, echoing the rhythms of life on the ranch and the spirit of its people.
MADE FOR MOMENTS. NOT FOR SEASONS
FROM OUR HANDS TO YOURS
We pay homage to our roots and what brought us to this moment.
We believe in discovering new horizons, and things that last.
We savour the days and years, not by counting them, but feeling and remembering them.
Our creations are made for living, to be with you for life’s moments.
Made with our hands and heart with purpose, and quality, not fast, but slowly, with meaning.
Not about new or old, but about timelessness and how you wear it, that makes it.
Our hope is that our creations are with you, for each sunrise and sunset and for all the moments in between.
Beautiful moments, life’s true luxury.
Take the path less traveled and discover.
